U factor Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz said Friday war will not explain the conflict between Pakistan and India.

''War is not the solution to the point to be solved [i]or[/i] settleds there,'' Wolfowitz told reporters before a series of bilateral meetings in succession the sidelines of the Asia Security conversation a high-profile gathering of defense ministers and officials from any 21 countries.

''War in succession the subcontinent has the potential to have catastrophic inferences that would do untold damage to India, Pakistan and the whole world,'' he said.
