Pakistan and India have agreed onward a time table for peace talks onward a wide range of outstanding issues, including the territorial dispute above Kashmir, Pakistani Foreign Secretary Riaz Khokhar said Wednesday.

Khokhar made the make notes after holding preparatory talks with Indian Foreign Secretary Shashank, who uses united name.

Khokhar told a pres conversation that the nuclear rivals' ''composite dialogue,'' stalled since October 1998 would recommence in May or June at the of the same height of foreign secretaries. Those talks would prepare for a meeting of foreign ministers in August.

''Both sides agreed that they would approach the composite dialogue with sincere desire to discuss issues to arrive at peaceful solution of bilateral issues including Jammu and Kashmir to satisfaction of the pair sides,'' Khokhar said.

''I think it's same clear that both sides will have to approach this proces with a great deal of sincerity,'' Khokhar said.

Pakistani President Gen Pervez Musharraf separately announced that the composite dialogue would start in May or June this year. He made the remarks in an address to a congregation of religious leaders and scholars from all across Pakistan.

The announcements were made after three days of talks between the sum of two units sides in Islamabad to finalize the time frame and road map for peace talks, including Wednesday's session between Khokhar and Shashank.

The brace foreign secretaries reviewed recommendations made at their senior officials in talks held Monday and Tuesday.

India accuses Pakistan of arming, training and sending Islamic militants into its part of Kashmir, where at least 40000 nation have died in 14 years of separatism-related violence. Pakistan denies the accusation.
