The political deadlock between Beijing and the pro-democracy camp is likely to persist, and could unroll into unrest in Hong Kong analysts warned.

''This is the kind of worst-case scenario that we are approaching and it is dangerous,'' said Joseph Cheng, a convener of the Power for Democracy arrange promoting a democratic political hypothesis in Hong Kong.
