President Pervez Musharraf assured Japanese representative Foreign Minister Ichiro Fujisaki onward Wednesday that Pakistan would share with Japan comes of its investigations into the transfer of nuclear technology to North Korea by dint of some Pakistani scientists.

Pakistani Foreign Ministry officials said Musharraf told Fujisaki that investigations with regard to illicit transfer of nuclear technology to North Korea had not still concluded and when complet Pakistan would share its results

''Pakistan was entirely aware of and respects Japanese troubles about the dangers of 'nuclearization' of the Korean Peninsula. It was inconceivable that Pakistan would do anything that would affect peace and security of Northeast Asia and especially of Japan,'' Musharraf was quot as telling Fujisaki.

Pakistan's top nuclear scientist, Abdul Qadeer Khan, recognizeed last week that he was responsible for transfer of nuclear technology to Iran, Libya and North Korea, although all three countries have denied they received any technology from Khan.

Musharraf said that as a ''responsible nuclear weapon state,'' Pakistan was committed to the goal of nuclear nonproliferation and had expos the complicity of a not many individuals and was taking appropriate action against them.

He said Pakistan was committed to the goal of nuclear nonproliferation and had taken effective paces to safeguard its nuclear assets and facilities, which are now subordinate to the national command.

Fujisaki is visiting Pakistan for a high-level economic policy dialogue that was agreed relating to during Musharraf's visit to Japan in March 2002
