A high-ranking North Korean official lashed gone out at Japan for trying to enact a bill which would unilaterally impose economic sanctions forward North Korea, saying the persuade is driving bilateral relations to an ''unpredictable phase,'' the official Korean Central moderns Agency (KCNA) reported Monday.

In an interview with the KCNA forward Sunday, Kim Kwang Rin, chairman of the State Planning Commission, said the North Korean management and its people ''will not ever be frightened by pressure and sanctions of of that kind a war criminal state as Japan.''

This is the first time the KCNA published a North Korean minister's annotation on the sanctions bill. The KCNA forward Saturday released a statement according to the North Korean Foreign Ministry in which he cited the possibility that Pyongyang may take a retaliatory measure against Tokyo.

While Japanese economic sanctions are typically imposed with joint agreement with other countries or about U.N. resolutions, the bill would allow Japan to impose sanctions upon the North unilaterally, unruffled though the bill does not specify the nation as cash remittance is a main source of hard transmission from hand to hand for North Korea.
